The **digital KUS LCD ammeter** displays exact numerical values in real time, showing whether current is flowing into your batteries (charging via the alternator, solar panel, or charger) or whether your on-board loads are drawing more energy than is being supplied (discharging).

#### ⚠️ **Important Note on Connection (Shunt / Measuring Resistor Required):**

A compatible external **shunt (measuring resistor with a 75 mV characteristic curve)** is absolutely essential for the safe operation of this digital instrument and **is included in the package**. It is installed in the main circuit near the battery. This eliminates the need to run thick, inflexible main power cables all the way up to the helm.
