#### **KUS Marine Oil Temperature Sensor / Transmitter Type 3 – Precise Measurement for Engine & Transmission Oil with 120°C Alarm**

Effectively protect your valuable powertrain from thermal overload! The original **KUS oil temperature sensor (Type 3)** continuously measures the exact heat buildup in your engine oil or transmission lubrication system. It converts the temperature values into the standardized analog resistance range of **300 to 23 ohms**. This makes it the perfect, error-free sensor partner for all analog and digital KUS oil temperature gauges (50–150°C) at the helm.

What sets the highly advanced **Type 3 model** apart is that the sensor features an **integrated, separate warning contact (alarm switch)**. As soon as the oil reaches the critical threshold of **120°C**, the contact closes automatically. This allows you to activate a separate red warning light or an acoustic KUS warning buzzer in the cockpit—in addition to the temperature gauge—to prevent impending lubrication film breakdown in a timely manner.

This temperature sensor provides the standard KUS characteristic curve of approximately 300 ohms at 50°C to 23 ohms at 150°C. Please select the exact thread size for your engine block or marine transmission from the drop-down menu above:
