ROYAL Bimini Top with 3 arches and 22 mm diameter stainless steel frame
Thanks to its high-quality construction and exceptional stability, even in larger sizes, this sunshade is suitable for all large inflatable boats, sailboats, and motorboats, as well as for mounting on the gunwale. This model derives its exceptional stability from the combination of 22 mm diameter stainless steel poles and stainless steel connectors.
Design of the Bimini Top frame
The collapsible frame is made of (Ø 22 mm) high-gloss polished stainless steel (AISI 316). The Bimini features 3 reinforcement arches. For easier handling, storage, or transport, the canopy can also be disassembled.
Material of the sun canopy
The canopy is made from high-quality, 100% resin-coated SUNBRELLA® PLUS acrylic fabric ( 360 g/m²). It features an anti-fungal coating, making it mold-resistant and easy to maintain. Thanks to the resin-based coating, the canopy is waterproof and UV-resistant. The fabric complies with ISO 4920 and is available in 19 different colors. This solution-dyed acrylic fabric features piqué effects and color accents to perfectly match your boat.
Bimini Top Hardware and Mounting Hardware
The fittings used are made of stainless steel (AISI 316) with a high-gloss polish. All screws are made of AISI 316 stainless steel or aluminum.
Maximum Speed
The maximum recommended speed when sailing with this Bimini model, when deployed, is 25 knots.
Dimensions of the sun canopy
The sun canopy is available in heights (C) of 95 cm, 115 cm, or 140 cm:
The height (D) of the canopy when folded is 120 cm for the 95 cm height, 160 cm for the 115 cm height, and 180 cm for the 140 cm height.
The length (B) of the canopy is 150 cm for the 95 cm height , 200 cm for the 115 cm height , and 230 cm for the 140 cm height.
When folded, the bimini top has the following dimensions: The width you selected x 40 cm (depth) x 8 cm (height).
What’s included with the Bimini top
- A protective cover (matching the selected canopy color) with a zipper
- 1 pair of tension straps in white with stainless steel hardware
Please note that this Bimini top does not include fittings for mounting on the boat. These must be ordered separately. The scope of delivery includes only the fittings mounted on the top itself (see product image).

The starting point
The first measurement to take is the width between the right centre gunwale to the left centre one of the boat or, in case of an inflatable boat, the width between the right centre tubular to the centre left one.
From this size it can be evaluated which model of Bimini Top can be installed.
