KUS Marine Oil Temperature Sensor / Transmitter Type 3 – Precise Measurement for Engine & Transmission Oil with 120°C Alarm
Effectively protect your valuable powertrain from thermal overload! The original KUS oil temperature sensor (Type 3) continuously measures the exact heat build-up in your engine oil or transmission lubrication system. It converts the temperature values into the standardized analog resistance range of 300 to 23 ohms. This makes it the perfect, reliable sensor partner for all analog and digital KUS oil temperature gauges (50–150°C) at the helm.
What sets the advanced Type 3 model apart is that the sensor features an integrated, separate warning contact (alarm switch). As soon as the oil reaches the critical threshold of 120°C, the contact closes automatically. This allows you to activate a separate red warning light or an acoustic KUS warning buzzer in the cockpit—in addition to the temperature gauge—to prevent an impending loss of the lubricating film in a timely manner.
