KUS Marine Oil Temperature Sensor / Transducer Type 3 – Precise Measurement for Engine & Transmission Oil with 120°C Alarm
Effectively protect your valuable powertrain from thermal overload! The original KUS oil temperature sensor (Type 3) continuously measures the exact heat build-up in your engine oil or transmission lubrication system. It converts the temperature values into the standardized analog resistance range of 300 to 23 ohms. This makes it the perfect, error-free sensor partner for all analog and digital KUS oil temperature gauges (50–150°C) at the helm.
What sets the highly advanced Type 3 version apart is that the sensor features an integrated, separate warning contact (alarm switch). As soon as the oil reaches the critical threshold of 120°C, the contact closes automatically. This allows you to activate a separate red warning light or an acoustic KUS warning buzzer in the cockpit—in addition to the temperature gauge—to prevent impending loss of the lubricating film in a timely manner.
