The Railblaza team, who regularly boat, are consistently frustrated when the friction hinges stop holding the boat hatches up. That's why the Hatch Wedge was born.
The hatch wedge can be used in multiple positions to keep your ships hatches open at four different heights. This allows you to keep your boat or yacht well ventilated during the warm summer months without worrying about your hatches falling off or slamming your fingers. The hatch chock also comes with a lanyard hole so it can be attached to the hatch to prevent loss.
The hatch wedge is manufactured with a groove pattern and cutouts to accommodate most makes of hatch including Lewmar, Goiot, Moonlight, Vetus, Bomar, Gebo and Maxwell. The hatch wedge also keeps your hatch open at four different height levels; 25, 50, 75 and 125mm (1, 2, 3 and 5 inches).
