The highly advanced KUS NMEA 2000 sewage tank sensor, Model NS3H, was designed exclusively to meet the extreme challenges posed by black water (sewage) and gray water tanks on modern yachts. While conventional sensors in sewage systems quickly become blocked by solids or toilet paper, the NS3H model offers long-lasting, reliable digital performance without loss of analog signal.

Important for your planning: This special sensor is shipped from the factory pre-coded by default for black water/sewage tanks.

If you’d prefer to use the transducer for a graywater tank (shower or dishwater) instead, simply add our KUS NMEA 2000 Programming Service (Item No. 33900) to your cart. Our technical staff will reprogram the transducer head with the exact data sets before shipping.

📐 Important Installation & Measurement Instructions for Model NS3H:

Due to its protective outer housing, the NS3H model has a total diameter of 55 mm. Please ensure that your tank opening is large enough. To determine the correct length:

Inner clear tank height minus at least 15 mm to 20 mm = your ideal sensor length. Mechanical contact with the tank bottom must be avoided at all costs.
The NS3H model measures the effective length from the top edge of the thread to the tube element. Easily select the appropriate version from the menu above.
Mounting: Convenient 1 1/4" BSP screw-in thread including a professional O-ring seal.
